55,000 Seats Under the World's Largest Free-Spanning Dome
The centrepiece of the Kallang precinct holds 55,000 spectators for football and rugby, with movable tiered seating that reconfigures for athletics, cricket, and large-scale concerts. The retractable roof and under-seat comfort cooling were designed specifically for Singapore's tropical climate.
Asia's Multi-Use Indoor Arena Since 1989
Designed by Kenzo Tange and opened by Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew, the Indoor Stadium has hosted 35 years of concerts, sporting events, and esports tournaments. Its cone-shaped, pillarless design allows flexible configurations from 4,000 to 15,000 spectators. A new 18,000-seat replacement arena is planned as part of the Kallang Alive development.
FINA-Standard Pools and the 2025 World Championships Diving Venue
Three pools — a 10-lane competition pool, 8-lane training pool, and a 5-metre-deep diving pool — meet World Aquatics standards for all aquatic disciplines. The venue is home to the Singapore Swimming Association and serves as a public ActiveSG swimming facility outside competition windows. Seating expands from 3,000 to 6,000 with temporary stands.
